I'm excited and he's not even my president. We have a bowl of porridge for a prime minister. Except with less charisma than a bowl of porridge.

It's funny though, because it still feels as though he's our president too.

Joely Black (@TheCharmQuark on Twitter)´s brilliant babbling..A post about a great many posts that were never written

First of all, your not allowed to reference "cracker" any more. One nation, one color!

I tired of W ages ago and letterman's "Moments" a while back myself. I hope we don't get too many Obama moments either.

Has anyone noticed how many Seceret Service agents are "Of color" there are lately. Where were they when W was in office, hiding under a desk and yelling "Watch for cross fire" over their radios?

I'll be having a Bloody MAry in the morning. I've been drinking since November!

he and i have several points of disagreement in policy, but i have always liked obama and voted for him in the election. my former party left me far behind in its quest to be irrelevant; mccain/fey... err... palin was never an option for me because i had even less in common with them from a political standpoint. so i jettisoned the republican label and said, "obama, make me a believer. we're worlds apart, but you have a jack kennedy flair to you and i think you might actually get something positive done."

i want my children to watch the inauguration tomorrow so they see history. i want them to remember it. and i hope that obama's likeness to kennedy is limited to his youthful vigor and does not include the macabre end a president i admired met with 45 years ago.

peter dawes´s brilliant babbling..only mostly dead
