Keep up the fantastic work there, you’re only the addition of a drunken brawl in a bar fuelled by whiskey in which a flat-capped man assaults a fellow shitty smelling farmer with a bar stool – accompanied by bodhran and aye-diddley music of course – and then the row gets broken up by the Garda with thebig thick Templemore accent.

Add that in, and by God son, you’ll have The Quiet Man and The Field all in one.

And sure isn’t that what us Irish are all about?

Oops, I didn’t know that Grandad was going to read what I wrote. A person can’t get by with any indiscretions in this blogospear. I MEANT to say that he’s probably the next James Joyce…only people can actually understand what Grandad’s “on about.” I think he’s doing a fine job of putting the “ire” back in Ireland.
