Yeah, I know. Still, it reminds me of when Ron the Drummer and I went to a scenic road in Tucson to shoot the image for Highways and Hiking Shoes. I had to lie on my stomach on the side of the road to get the shot … and since I’m a lousy photographer, I had to take many many shots to ensure at least one good one would happen by accident.
I wasn’t on the road proper, and I had Ron behind me, looking out for any cars that might stray. One person stopped to ask if I was all right.
If you’re curious, the resulting cover is here. I like how it turned out. It’s not nearly as interesting as the picture you posted, though.
