It's the day our neighbors to the north use to plan their invasion. They take one day a year out because I'm guessing the rest of their days are too full of eating Kraft Dinner and riding their Zambonis. Thankfully when the invasion does come (and make no mistake, it is coming) it'll be so darn polite no one will notice or object if they do.

You'll note that I didn't post a 4th of July post. That's mostly due to a migraine that I had yesterday, than out of any realization that I have an international audience. Of course for my two bits I am interested in other folks' holidays/traditions/reasons for inebriation and would suspect that others are so inclined. If that means that those who do post along those lines have some sort of blinkers on then ... I guess no one's making you read those posts, right?

WOOT! Ohmigod it is NOT yet another 4th of July post!! OHMIGOD!

You know what's interesting? On Canada day and on La Fête Nationale du Quebec, I did *NOT* post about it.

Why?

Because my audience is international. I respect that not everyone celebrates the days I do or the holidays I believe in.

But... uh... seems like I'm in the minority, here. Well, not HERE, because we have Julie, dude, but I mean out THERE.

So yes. I'm blurting out the biggest thank you for having the open mind to realize that there are all sorts of people reading your blog. And my blog. And other blogs.

And putting on those 'my world is your world' perception blinkers SUCKS for the rest of us who have to read it.
